I have travel needs or desires that may benefit from a private aircraft. What does that look like?
What does that cost? How does that even work? Are there partnerships available?
If you are asking any of these questions we have the answers for you. In general if you are
desiring to take a few private flights a year, it is not economically advantageous to own an
airplane or even a share of one - you should go charter an airplane when needed. We can refer
you to an excellent provider. If you have enough travel and adequate budget (or have other
reasons that you simply want your own access ) that a private aircraft or a partnership share in
one might make some sense, that’s where we come in.
In broad terms, for most users a reasonable budget for regular use could be as little as $75,000
/ year for a share of a turboprop to $500,000 for your own (sole ownership) jet. There are steps
everywhere in between. For less than 20,000 miles per year it makes much more economic
sense to use a charter or a fractional jet card. Some owners don’t have a quantity of need, but
desire for other reasons to have their own aircraft. We can help.
We have over three decades of experience in managing and optimizing aircraft operations.
Understanding not only how to manage an aircraft’s maintenance and upkeep schedule, but how to optimize it relative to your desired flight schedule (and vice versa) is key to your long-term satisfaction with your ownership experience. The same goes with flight planning and fuel purchase optimization.
